Shipton-under-Wychwood by train
We are very lucky to have a train station in Shipton-under-Wychwood. The train stops here infrequently as we are a small village, but it is well connected to Oxford - so therefore it is easy to get here from London and Birmingham.
Coming from Oxford the train stops at Shipton at approximately 7.55 in the morning. In the evenings there are three options - approximately 18.00, 19.00 and 23.00. These are not exact times, check the Great Western Railway website.
It is possible to walk from the station to The Wychwood Inn, but with luggage it may be better to take a taxi.
